When you book a recurring cleaning you MUST do a minimum of two services. If you have the intention of booking a discounted recurring cleaning with the intention to only do a one-time cleaning, you will still be charged for the second cleaning.

Thank you for choosing Angelica’s Home Cleaning. Below are the guidelines we ask our residential clients to abide by. These guidelines have been put in place to provide a safe environment for our workers and set clear expectations with our clients so that we can continue to make your home sparkle for years to come! Please review and sign before your first cleaning and let us know if you have any questions!

How To Prepare For Your Cleaning

We are thrilled to come clean for you and want to be able to leave your house sparkling. For us to be able to provide the highest quality cleaning possible, we would just ask for you to do a couple of things to prepare for our arrival. Please put away anything that would inhibit us from cleaning certain areas, such as loose papers, dog toys, children’s toys, etc. Please make sure all dishes are put away, so we can thoroughly clean your kitchen. In addition, make sure anything of a sensitive nature is put away for your privacy.

Service Scope & Standard Exclusions

While we strive to be as thorough as possible, for the safety of our team and the protection of your property, our standard services DO NOT include the following:

  • Cleaning at heights requiring ladders above 3 steps.
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances (we clean around or under what is accessible).
  • Exterior window cleaning above ground level.
  • Cleaning of biohazardous materials (including mold, or human/pet waste).
  • Cleaning in hoarding conditions or properties with excessive clutter.
  • Pest control or infestation remediation.
  • Carpet shampooing or upholstery cleaning (unless specifically booked).
  • Cleaning inside ovens or refrigerators (unless specifically requested/added to your scope).

Technology

Angelica’s Home Cleaning utilizes technology to provide a smoother customer experience! You will receive several automated reminders prior to your cleaning by email and text as well as feedback requests after your cleaning. You may adjust your reminder settings by contacting us.

For our records, to make sure the cleaning was done and completed as well as documenting any damage prior to the cleaning, we take before and after pictures. We use these pictures for ongoing training and to ensure you receive the best cleaning possible. If you decide you want copies of these pictures, just email us and we are happy to send them to you. These pictures are stored in our secure system in your client file. Our client’s privacy is our top priority! No pictures will ever be shared outside of Angelica’s Home Cleaning for any reason. Should there ever be a time when we would like to use a before and after picture for something else, you will be sent a consent form.

Our cleaning technicians clock in and out from our scheduling app on their phones and GPS coordinates are registered at the time of input. This is to make sure they have arrived and left safely.

Initial Cleaning Estimate

We take many variables into consideration when we give an initial cleaning estimate but due to it being given over the phone or online, our cleaning technicians will let us know if extra time is needed to perform the full scope of service in your home. Angelica’s Home Cleaning will call you about an hour before your initial clean is scheduled to be completed, and let you know if the home will require extra time due to things like higher dirt level than anticipated, high number of knick-knacks/trinkets, etc. You will have the option to approve the extra time, or stay within your original estimate, understanding the clean will be left incomplete. We will never charge your card for any extra time without your consent.

Working In the Home & Other Providers

To ensure you are getting the best cleaning possible, our cleaning technicians must be able to work without distractions. Every effort is made for the cleaning technicians to work safely, but we cannot assume liability for the safety of others while cleaning your home. This includes unattended children and pets and other service providers/contractors.

We ask that you please schedule all other services (maintenance, painters, carpet cleaners, etc.) to be completed either before we arrive or after we have completed your cleaning. If other service providers are present during your scheduled cleaning, we ask that they not impede our service. Angelica’s Home Cleaning reserves the right to charge for extra time spent if distractions affect our technician’s ability to work at their normal speed.

Kids & Pets

Angelica’s Home Cleaning will not enter your home if there are children present without an adult. If we find that children are present without an adult, we reserve the right to leave immediately, and you will be charged for the full price of the cleaning.

We love our clients’ pets! But for their own safety and the safety of our cleaning technicians, please put your large or skittish pets in a secure area of the home or garage. To prevent cross-contamination, our cleaning technicians cannot clean animal feces or urine of any kind.

Bio-Hazard

Please let us know if there are any potential bio-hazard situations at or near your home. These can include mold, rodent, or bug infestations, or human or pet urine or feces. If a bio-hazard situation is evident, our technicians will not be able to service your home and you will be charged the full cost of your service.

Time of Service & Safety

We service homes between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm and will strive to be at your home within a two-hour window of the estimated time.

Safety Guidelines:

  • Temperature: Please ensure that the temperature in the home is between 68°F & 72°F.
  • Furniture: Our cleaning technicians will not move heavy furniture to prevent damage and remain safe.
  • Environment: If our cleaning technicians feel that their personal safety is in danger due to actions by a client, guests, animals, or children, they are instructed to leave immediately, and you will be charged the full cost of service.
  • Smoking: Please do not smoke any substances (cigarettes, vapes, etc.) in the home while our technicians are present.

Entry To Your Home & Alarms

We offer 3 entry options:

  • Being Home: If no one is home to let us in or we are turned away, you will be charged the full cost of service.
  • Garage/Door Code: If the code provided is incorrect and we cannot gain access, you will be charged the full cost of service.
  • Lock Box: You can provide a key via a lock box. If the key is missing or the code fails, you will be charged the full cost of service.
  • If you choose to leave a door unlocked or a key under a mat, Angelica’s Home Cleaning will not be held liable for any damages or theft to the home. Regarding alarms, we will not be liable for any false alarm charges due to code changes not brought to our attention.

Schedule Changes & Cancelations

We require 48 hours notice to reschedule, skip, or cancel.

  • Changes made with less than 48-hour notice will result in a 50% charge of your total cleaning cost.
  • Same-day changes or cancellations will result in the full cost of your service being charged.

Payment

Payment is due in full on the day of service. We do not accept cash or checks; all services will be billed to the credit card on file. Your card will be authorized for the full amount on the morning of your cleaning. If your card is declined, payment must be updated before service is performed. Failure to do so may result in cancellation. Tipping is never required but always appreciated.

Breakage, Damage, & Quality Control

Angelica’s Home Cleaning needs your feedback! You will receive a scorecard via email/text once your cleaning is complete. Please expect random quality checks by a manager during the final phase of your cleaning.

  • Breakage: We assume no liability for damage due to pictures not hung securely, items with unstable bases, floating shelves, etc. We do not clean curio cabinets, figurines, or items of extreme sentimental value.
  • Claims: If an item is broken by a technician, we will pay up to $100 per item or replacement cost when the value is verifiable. Damage must be reported to our office immediately.
  • Surfaces: Hardwood and stone should be in good condition. We use neutral pH cleaners and safe products. For insurance reasons, we cannot use cleaning products or tools provided by clients.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Angelica’s Home Cleaning for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer to the Company for services during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Force Majeure

Angelica’s Home Cleaning shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing our services when such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: “Acts of God” (floods, fires, earthquakes), severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government-mandated restrictions, or other emergencies. In such events, we will make every effort to reschedule your service as soon as it is safe to do so.

Credit Card Dispute Policy

By paying with a credit card, you agree that Angelica’s Home Cleaning does not offer refunds (refer to our 24-hour guarantee). Prior to filing a chargeback, you agree to provide us 3 business days to resolve any issues. If you file a chargeback and lose the case, you agree to re-pay all chargeback fees plus interest at 1.5% per month.

Non-Solicitation of Employees

By signing these guidelines, you agree that during our services and for 12 months following cancellation, you will not solicit any Angelica’s Home Cleaning employee for private hire. If you choose to hire an employee directly, you agree to pay a training/referral fee of $2,500 USD.

24-Hour Guarantee

We want you to be absolutely delighted! Please report any concerns to our office within 24 hours. We will return and re-clean the area(s) of concern at no cost to you. We do not offer refunds.
